The Research Line “Methods and Tools for Product Design” falls under the competence of the Department of “Design and Methods of Industrial Engineering”. The study programme therefore includes methods and instruments used to support the product development cycle and covers all the different design stages, ranging from conception of the product to its development, with particular emphasis on the techniques of virtual prototyping and integrated management of the information concerning the life cycle of the product.
